Opening Workshop: August 5-9, 2019

Location

This workshop was held at SAS Hall on the campus of NC State University.

Description

The GDRR program is broad, and embraces game theory, adversarial risk analysis, and complex decision theory, often in the context of system reliability in a stochastic environment. Machine learning approaches are a prominent part of the program. The workshop began with a series of overview lectures, and then segued into talks about recent research on these topics. Later in the week, participants broke out into working groups, and developed plans for their semester of work on these topics. On the final day of the workshop, the working group leaders reconvened to share their plans with the rest of the workshop participants.
